Frequently asked questions
Everything about pricing, permissions, browsers, and privacy.
Getting started
It’s a YouTube subscription organizer. You group channels into folders, build focused feeds per topic and browse everything in a clean Deck view — right inside YouTube.
Add TubeOrganizer to your browser from the extensions store in one click. There’s no sign-up and no setup — it starts working on YouTube right away.
Open the Channels tab, drag subscriptions into folders and nested groups, then add tags and icons. Each group gets its own focused feed.
You use YouTube as you normally would. TubeOrganizer itself doesn’t require a separate account to organize your subscriptions.
We’re new and honest about it. The extension is actively developed with an open roadmap, and early users directly influence what we build next.
Pricing & plans
Yes. The core features are free forever, with no trial countdown and no credit card required. A paid Pro plan adds advanced organization.
Pro is $3.99/mo billed yearly, or $4.99/mo billed monthly. You can cancel anytime and keep all free features.
Free covers subscription groups, focused feeds and basic filtering. Pro adds nested groups, full Deck Mode, unlimited filtering, sync, bulk actions, import/export and priority support.
The Free plan lets you try the core experience with no time limit. When you need advanced features, you can upgrade to Pro at any time.
Of course. Cancel Pro whenever you like and keep all free features without limits.
Pro is billed through our secure payment provider, which supports major credit and debit cards. Choose monthly or yearly billing at checkout.
If something isn’t right, get in touch. We’ll do our best to make it right within a reasonable period after purchase.
Compatibility
It works in Chromium-based browsers: Chrome, Edge, Brave, Opera, Vivaldi and Arc. Just add it to your browser and it works right away.
Right now TubeOrganizer targets Chromium browsers. Firefox and Safari support are on the roadmap — follow us to hear when they land.
Browser extensions run on desktop browsers, so TubeOrganizer works on desktop. Your groups can sync so they’re ready whenever you’re back at your computer.
The interface ships in English, with more languages planned. It works regardless of the language your YouTube account is set to.
Features & usage
Yes. With Pro you can nest groups inside groups, so you can mirror exactly how you think about your channels.
Deck Mode turns every subscription group into its own live column of new videos, so you can follow many topics side by side instead of one endless feed.
Yes. Filter your feed by tag and sort videos with far more control than YouTube’s default — Pro removes the limits on filtering.
Yes. You can mark videos as watched to keep feeds tidy, and Pro removes limits so you can do it in bulk across many videos at once.
Yes. Import groups when switching from another extension or a new device, and export them anytime as a backup.
Free includes generous everyday organizing; Pro is built for people who follow hundreds of channels and want room to grow. See the pricing page for current limits.
No. It works as an overlay on the standard YouTube interface — it adds new views and options, and you can return to the normal look anytime.
No. TubeOrganizer is lightweight and runs only on youtube.com, so your regular browsing stays fast.
Privacy & data
Only what it needs to run on youtube.com. It has no access to other sites or your passwords, and everything happens locally in your browser.
Yes. No account is required, we don’t collect your watch history, and we never sell data. Your organization is stored locally, with optional backups.
By default everything is stored locally in your browser. If you turn on optional sync, a copy of your settings is backed up so it can travel between your own browsers.
Clear it from the extension settings at any time, or remove the extension to wipe local data. If sync is on, you can delete the synced copy too.
No. There are no ads inside the extension and we don’t track your browsing outside YouTube.
